I am learning Tagalog : 300 essential words and phrases, 140 common expressions, the 100 most common verbs, the 1000 essential Tagalog words. Tagalog is a language spoken as a first language by a quarter of the population of the Philippines and as a second language by the majority. Its standardized form, officially named Filipino, is the national language of the Philippines. There are over 80 million Tagalog language speakers around the world.
