The Peasant Marey

'The Peasant Marey' is a work by a classic of Russian literature and one of the best world-class novelists F. M. Dostoevsky (1821–1881). In 1831, the father of the future writer M.A. Dostoevsky bought an estate in the Tula province - the village of Darovoye (now the Moscow region). Fyodor Dostoevsky first came to Darovoye in April 1832. It was then, on the first trip, that the frightened boy Fyodor was calmed down by a graying plowman.
