In 1948, before the collapse of the Kuomingtang, a secret party by the name of the Plum Blossom was set up with the goal of infiltrating the government and waiting for an opportunity to rise. Long Fei, an agent of the KMT planned a secret rendezvous with Bai Wei, the daughter of Plum Blossom Party's leader, to locate the Plum Blossom Painting, which contains a list of the Plum Blossom Party members. It's said that Fei failed in his mission, and from then on, the painting is nowhere to be found, the identity of the party's members an even bigger mystery. 10 years later, following the unauthorized release of a nuclear submarine design, the odd occurrence of a woman in disguise at Tiger Beach, and the haunting of a crematorium, the Plum Blossom Party, reemerges from the depths and springs into action.
