'The Adventure of the Noble Bachelor' is a novel in the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes series by Arthur Conan Doyle. It was first published in the Strand Magazine in April 1892. Hetty, the young wife of Lord Saint-Simon, disappears shortly after their wedding. The lord blames this his ex-wife, who visited them at home just before Hetty disappeared. Sherlock Holmes took up the search for Saint-Simon's wife.
