Together with the bird-catcher Papageno, Tamino sets out to rescue Princess Pamina, for the feared Sarastro is holding her captive in his fortress. As magical aids, the Queen of the Night, Pamina's mother, gives Tamino a magic flute and Papageno a set of magic bells. The brave rescuers must pass difficult trials, but their daring plan succeeds. In the end, Tamino and Pamina, and Papageno with his new sweetheart Papagena, fall happily into each other's arms.
Mozart's classic music is woven in gently for the very youngest. The much-loved melodies carry listeners through the children's audio drama and show how comforting and strengthening music can be. Perfect for family time, afternoon activities and bedtime routines.
